Jenn Hood is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer currently practicing as associate general counsel at Index Exchange. Jenn’s practice routinely touches on corporate and commercial transactions, corporate governance matters, and antitrust investigations, among other things. Prior to joining Index, Jenn spent seven years at a major Canadian broadcaster, serving as an in-house counsel at Shaw Media (acquired by Corus Entertainment). Before going in-house, Jenn began her career as a financial services associate at a Bay Street law firm. Jenn was called to the bar in 2010. Most recently, Jenn earned her Certified International Privacy Professionals, United States and European, designations in 2021 and 2022. An avid reader, runner and restorer of ramshackle cottages, Jenn spends her free time trying to keep up with her two young boys. One of her favorite past-times is getting lost in museums.
